Julius and Ethel Rosenberg - Conspiracy, Espionage, Execution. This describes the tumultuous and complicated trial of Julius and Ethel Rosenberg, who would be convicted and executed for conspiracy to commit espionage in 1953.  In the wake of the Soviet Union detonating their first nuclear bomb, the Communist victory in China, and the start of the Korean War, the conspiracy to commit espionage during war would capture the attention of a nation - and propet Joseph McCarthy to greater notoriety.
